"SpiderBeetleBee" - a celebratory sour for our friends Bill MacKay & Ryley Walker who played their first shows in five years in our tasting room the summer of 2023. The duo's intricate and playful instrumental music inspired this sweet yet complex pairing of seasonally-fresh cherries from Michigan and our approachable and spicy Rye Whiskey in a Cherry Basil Smash.
2 oz Judson & Moore Rye Whiskey
.75 oz lime juice
.75 oz cherry syrup
Garnish: fresh basil
.75 oz cherry syrup
Garnish: fresh basil
Add the rye whiskey, lime juice and cherry into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Double-strain into a chilled glass and garnish with fresh basil.
