2 oz Judson & Moore Single Malt
0.75 oz Orange Liqueur/ Triple Sec
0.75 oz lime juice
0.75 oz Jalapeño Syrup*
Shake until cook and serve in double old fashioned glass with ice and salt rim
House Made Jalapeno Salt Rim
Use a microplane to grate up one jalapeño. Spread the grated jalapeño thinly between two paper towels and allow to dry for at least an hour. Then mix with equal parts sea salt.
*Jalapeño Syrup
12 oz sugar
12 oz water
2 Jalapeños Sliced, only one seeded
Slice two jalapeños, de-seed only one of them while you bring 12 ounces of water to a boil. Once rolling, add the jalapeños into the pot and let simmer for 10 minutes. Then, cut off the heat and stir in your 12 ounces of sugar. Leave the jalapeños to steep in the simple syrup for another 30 minutes or until it has reached your preferred spice level.
